Empowering a crimefighter community: Highlights from 2017

We’re excited to be empowering crimefighters, and without question 2017 was the biggest year yet. But before we plunge headfirst into 2018, we wanted to share some of our favourite wins and other highlights from the community last year.

For some easy listening on your commute home, we’re bringing you our very first podcast! I sat down with Phil Thomson and Tom Batterbury, two of Auror’s co-founders, and Ellen Dick, our Community Manager, to review a stellar year for our crimefighter community.

Listen to the full podcast below, or it you prefer things at Flash-like speed, here’s the key takeaways:

  1. The crimefighter community grew enormously last year. We brought on some exciting new customers, expanded into new markets, and spent more time than ever before supporting the community to prevent crime. We started to see the Data Network Effect manifest, which resulted in more collaboration and great outcomes for the community.

  2. Collaboration and intel make a difference. The wins from our community last year reinforced the power of intel for solving and preventing crime.

  3. Auror grew as a company. We added new team members, moved into an exciting crimefighter-themed HQ, and have even bigger plans for 2018.

This is the first of several podcasts we hope to bring you in the months ahead, and we’d love to get your feedback on format or future topics. Be sure to tell us what you think in the comments!
