How Auror Subject Recognition works

1. POI is added to retailer's list

If an individual's past offending meets the retailer's criteria for 'Extreme Threat', 'Serious Threat' or 'High Loss', they are added to the POI list.

2. A POI enters store

POI enters the store and is cross-checked against the POI list by the integrated third-party FRT.

3. Suggested match and alert sent

Alert sent to an authorized user for verification.

4. Match confirmed

User verifies the suggested match is correct and prepares a response.

5. User responds

User takes appropriate action based on POI risk type and retailer’s internal policy.

6. Outcome recorded

User records the outcome of the response to provide a full audit trail.
