Content and information provided by Auror is to be used to deter, identify, investigate, and prevent crime.

If you provide or contribute any images, information, content or other materials to us and/or to this Site (“User Content”), you agree that we, and anyone authorised by us, can use that User Content in any manner free of any obligation to you. By posting or uploading any User Content to this Site or providing any User Content to us, you automatically and irrevocably:(a) grant and assign to us any and all rights in the User Content;(b) warrant that: (1) you are the owner of the User Content and entitled to enter into these Terms of Use, and (2) your collection methods of User Content comply with the New Zealand Privacy Act 1993 or Australian Privacy Act 1988. You acknowledge that User Content is automatically uploaded to this Site, and it may not have been reviewed, screened, or approved by us. Any User Content provided by you should be accurate. You must have evidence of an incident or crime in order to upload an incident to the Site.

Although we have tried to ensure the content on this Site is current, accurate and complete, we do not guarantee that such content will be current, accurate or complete when you access it. User Content is uploaded automatically, and we may not review past postings to determine whether they remain accurate. We will take action, within a reasonable time, to correct any error or inaccuracy which is brought to our attention.

Security of Information
All information in transit to and from Auror is encrypted using SSL 256-bit encryption. However, any information which you transmit to us is transmitted at your own risk. We will take reasonable steps to preserve the security of all information. You should never share your secure information, account details, username, or password with any other person.

We may use “cookies” to provide you with access to tailored information and services on the Site and serve you better when you return to it.
